Our Past Events We hit the jackpot at our first ever USO Casino Night. Guests enjoyed poker, blackjack, and roulette. Thanks to the generous support of our community we were able to give away great prizes and experiences to the luckiest winners. All proceeds went to benefit the VAC of Cherokee County to help elderly veterans in the area.Our Braves at SunTrust Park event was a home run! We invited clients to bring a friend and enjoy a private suite for a Braves v. National game! And as a bonus, we won! Go Tomahawks! The night ended with a spectacular fireworks show.Retirement should be successful not stressful. We like to celebrate with our clients as they enter into this new beginning. Below are a few photographs taken at our most recent client retirement party.Nothing says spring like a picnic! Our Barbecue Bash of April 2018 was full of outdoor games, raffles and giveaways, an Eat-a-Q Test, a put-put tournament, and of course pork barbecue! We even had a shred truck on site, so clients could securely dispose of old paperwork. And as a cherry on top, an ice cream truck passed out some sweets!Christmas of 2017 we hosted a Christmas Drop-In for our clients and their families. Santa and Mrs. Claus made a trip all the way from the North Pole to be with us. The kids enjoyed crafts and cookie decorating. We even had one or two dogs stop by for a moment in the spotlight with Santa.Our 2017 Client Appreciation Dinner was hosted at the Tellus Science Museum! Clients mingled and toured the museum while involved in a scavenger hunt. A beautifully catered meal was provided, and we raffled gift baskets. A short presentation followed by a list of upcoming events concluded the evening.The 2016 Client Appreciation Dinner "Roaring Classics" was a blast...from the past! Clients had the option to dress in their favorite decade duds at the Historic Tate House. The evening consisted of a team question and answer panel, raffle drawings, decade trivia, and concluded with an encouraging client testimony.In September 2016 we moved to Woodstock! The President and CEO of Cherokee Chamber, Pam Carnes, lead our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We were joined by fellow members of the Chamber as well as clients and Pastor Jeff Hill who lead a prayer of dedication. Our newly renovated office provides much needed space and resources to help us better serve our clients.At Southern Advisors staying connected with our clients is a top priority; that is why each year we host a client appreciation dinner as well as other events to continue building those relationships! For Christmas 2015, we organized an event to collect bicycles for a local charity, Forever Grateful Ministries. They provide food, clothing, and bicycles for those in need in our community. Our clients joined in on this opportunity, and we collected a total of 26 bicycles! In addition to that, we presented a $2,000 check to FGM to help meet the needs of the disadvantaged youth in the Atlanta area!
